A Note from Bella
When my sister and I had the idea to do a bedroom makeover for a child with cancer, I was so excited that I sat and thought of all the things we should ask before doing a makeover. What colors do they like? Do they like sports or dance or something else? What are their interests? And what would they love to have in their room? From the very first bedroom makeover we completed it was easy for me to feel how grateful I was for Room 4 Love and the family we worked with. The dedication of completing bedrooms has given me a reward I never expected. I feel unbelievably appreciative to have the opportunity to see smiles on the faces of the families we’ve worked with. My greatest hope is that their new bedrooms give them a place where they can enjoy themselves and find a piece of brightness and hopefulness in each and every day. It is an amazing experience to get to know the children who are sick and their siblings as well. I’ve never met anyone else that has more strength than them. I receive a gift every time I see how genuinely happy they are when they walk in their new bedroom, and I receive a gift when I watch their ability to battle through sickness and continue to have the positivity of a child within them. Their strength always teaches me something new. I am proud of the Room 4 Love team that has been so dedicated and has volunteered much of their time to make this organization possible. Through our experiences together we all share a special bond and love for what we do.

A Note from Maggie
I feel lucky that growing up with my family we learned the path to help people in need. Somehow Room 4 Love fell into place like it was always meant to be for us. It wasn’t hard after many years of purchasing toys for children with cancer and dropping them off at local organizations, that my sister and I got excited to want to do a bedroom makeover for a child who may need one. Somehow the same team we have today is the same team that fell into place when it all started. I think maybe it was meant to be for them too. With every bedroom makeover we do, I feel honored to be a part of something so very special; not only special for the families but special for me as well. It is special for me because of the warmth it brings to my heart seeing the children’s faces light up; it is special to me because of the gratitude I feel for appreciating everyday on its own, and it is special for the strength and fight I am able to see within each and every child which gives me inspiration to work as hard as they do.
I hope this website brings something special to you too, and I appreciate you looking at our website.
